At The Ark Cycles, our passion for cycling is unrivalled. We want to exceed your expectations by returning you and your bike to the roads and trails as quickly as we can. When you bring your bike to us you won’t pay a penny until we have given you a free estimate and a free bike safety check with a repair estimate. We offer a range of service levels to suit your needs.

Service Levels
Bronze £50
Our mechanics will safety check your bicycle with the headset, bottom bracket and hubs checked and adjusted. We also check the adjustment of brakes and gears. All nuts and bolts are checked and torqued, tyres correctly inflated and chains lubricated.
Our bronze service makes sure your bike is road safe and is intended for bikes in good condition requiring minor adjustments.
Silver £100
Everything from the bronze service plus cassette, chain, chain set, front derailleur and rear derailleur removed, degreased and lubricated. Frame and fork wiped down and checked for alignment. Wheels removed from frame and trued in the wheel jig. This service is more in-depth than the bronze and we recommend it if parts are showing signs of wear and are not operating properly.
Gold £150
Everything from the silver service plus all components are removed, cleaned and inspected. Bottom bracket, hubs and headset bearings are cleaned, inspected and re-greased where necessary. Frame and fork are cleaned and inspected for damage and alignment.
Platinum £180
Everything from the gold service plus wax and polish, Di2 groupset updated and customized upon request, fresh brake bleed if required. This top tier platinum service is for bikes that include electronic group sets, hydraulic brakes or are specific time trial bikes.
EXTRAS
Puncture Repair from £5*
Tyre condition checked and any glass/flint etc removed. Inner tube replaced with new rim tape and tyre replaced if necessary.
Gear Tune from £25*
Front and rear derailleurs adjusted and limit screws set. Cables replaced and cable tension adjusted as necessary.

Hydraulic Brake Bleed from £25*
Old brake fluid removed and new installed. Price includes brake fluid. (priced per brake)
Brake Service from £20*
New brake pads and cables fitted, brakes aligned and adjusted.
Wheel True from £15*
Wheel removed from bike, trued and tensioned. Any broken spokes replaced as necessary.
Wheel Build from £40*
Please speak to a mechanic to discuss your wheel build requirements.

Headset Fitting from £20*
Removal of old headset, head tube cleaned and new headset installed. Crown race removed from forks, new one installed. If you need the head tube faced there'll be an additional charge of £20.
Bottom Bracket Fitting from £20*
Removal of old bottom bracket, shell cleaned and new bottom installed with anti-seize. If required bottom bracket shell tapped or faced and there will be an additional charge of £20.
Hub Service from £20*
Hub stripped down, cleaned and inspected. Re-greased and new bearings and cones fitted if necessary.
Suspension servicing from £50*
Fork and shock servicing available – ask in store for details.
Bike Builds from £80*
Hourly Rate £40 per hour
For any other job you will be charged hourly.
